Recovery Corner
Recovery Corner is a virtual, state-wide recovery group open to anyone interested in connecting with other students in recovery, learning about recovery, and sharing their personal experiences with recovery. This group is not a formal support/therapy group, nor is it associated with AA/NA or any other affiliates.

  1. Recovery Corner meetings will be held the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month at 5pm. If you are interested in attending, please register below.
  2. Meetings will be held virtually via Zoom.
  3. Recovery Corner is open to any student wanting to share their story, learn about recovery, or decrease their use of alcohol or other drugs. This group is open to students at any college or university in Missouri.

Throughout the Spring semester of 2022, we will focus the bi-monthly meetings on the following topics.

  4. April: Freedom Through Recovery
  5. May: Hope

Meet the Facilitator

Kate MeltonKatherine is the executive director of the Rediscovering You mental health nonprofit. She earned her Bachelor of Education in Community Health degree and later completed her Master in Public Health, Health Policy and Administration degree. Katherine is passionate for and dedicated to her work in mental health promotion, suicide prevention, substance use/misuse, and recovery.
